Organic Beard Balms

When creating a beard balm, it is important to choose oils that will be absorbed into the skin and hair without clogging pores and leaving a filmy residue behind. We feel as though we got it right with our Organic Beard Balm.  

Our own honeybees’ beeswax helps to style and keep hairs together, as well as keeping them soft and clean. Because it’s a sealant, it will also repel dirt, grime, and moisture, as well as keeping the hairs shiny.

Grapeseed oil has the benefit of being one of the most lightweight oils, so it moisturizes and conditions without weighing hair down and making it oily, helping to restore your hair’s natural shine and vibrancy. Grapeseed oil is full of antioxidants, including vitamin E, vitamin D, and vitamin C and is rich in omega-6 fatty acids. I infuse Tahitian vanilla beans into this oil.

Hemp Oil has antibacterial qualities, antioxidants, and vitamins AC & E. These are known to encourage hair growth and assist in moisturizing and thickening the hair while adding shine.  

Shea butter has the capacity to strengthen the hair follicles, reduce hair loss, and encourage hair to grow thicker, while moisturizing and preventing breakage. Filled with Vitamins A and E along with essential fatty acids, shea butter has both emollient and healing properties that increase shine and reduce frizz.

Patchouli is sourced in Indonesia and steam distilled. It is a known antiseptic and fungicide, the perfect combination to help with skin and scalp conditions like dandruff, eczema and psoriasis. As aromatherapy, patchouli is grounding, balancing, and calming.

Vanilla oil, sourced in Indonesia and steam distilled, has antioxidants that neutralize free radicals. It has hints of warm floral notes, comforting your spirits and inspiring loving moments (wink, wink).

Australian Sandalwood oil is sourced from Australia and steam distilled. It embodies a warm woodsy scent with hints of sweet earthy tones. As aromatherapy can improve mood and focus.

It is best applied out of the shower and will condition and tame beard hairs without acting as a thick pomade.
